"I didnt buy this through Amazon, but Radio Shack...and I've gotta say awesome product for a GREAT PRICE. I didnt want or need the bells and whistles of other gps's, but with the 1300, it came with the basics and even for someone who is not tech savy, I had no problems with turning it on and figuring out all the basics like how to set the home address, speech/text language you wanted, and how to navigate with it. It took less then a minuet for the gps to figure out my position and even when I typed in an address 1500 miles away, in 20 seconds I had it ready to lead me out of town and ready to go (which I personally think is great seeing as how I live in the middle of no where...ya know, where high speed internet isnt offered in my area and if you want anything other then pbs you have to get satellite).
If you want something that is easy to figure out, basic, and not to big then this is for you. I had a hard time imagining size and how something would look on my dash, anything bigger than this in my cherokee and it would have been to big and I would have had a hard time finding a spot for it. The suction cup works great, took me a second to get it to stick but the assembly of the base/mount was easy to figure out. My only complaint is you have to actually push the screen, not just touch it...not like jam your finger on it, but it does take a small amount of pressure, but if your driving and you have to reroute, its better that way so it wont just jump to another screen because you brushed it with your hand. "
